Departing from the Ellergronn, we launch on a trail that leads over the boarder to the French city of Audun-le-Tiche. On our way there, we walk across different landscapes and serval points of interest.

Palaeontology is the study of the geologic past and the analysis of fossilised plants and animals. Learn the basics of how to uncover fossils by using simple techniques.

Throughout this workshop, we set up an extensive camp out of natural materials. Like stone men, we build a little shelter, seats and some hunting equipment. Afterwards we prepare a meal over a campfire.

Discover on this guided tour the natural reserve Giele Botter - Prënzebierg. The biota of this area is particularly diverse, so that you find orchids, rare bat species, amphibians, reptiles and many other protected species.
