As part of the centenary of the Victor Binck grocery store, the Minett Park presents the show "Polentone!". Sold at the time in this grocery store, polenta, made from corn flour, water, a little salt and a lot of patience, has long been the bread of the poor in northern Italy, while that today, it is served even in the most chic restaurants.
Times change, but the memory remains: that of a grandmother from the mountains and a daily know-how, transformed into an art of living. Cooked and told at the same time, POLENTONE! is a nourishing performance for everyone.Interested spectators can directly participate in the traditional cooking of polenta, which will be shared (and eaten!) with every participant at the end of the performance, if the pandemic allows it.
Don't hesitate to enter the splendid Binck grocery shop before the start of the show, to buy the brochure published especially for its centenary (€ 5.00). Open from 5.30 pm.
